🏢 About the Company
Our client is a retail brand selling online to customers in several markets around the world. Known for accessible, quality-driven products and a strong customer experience, the business is investing further in a data-led approach to growth as it continues to scale internationally.
🌏 The Role
This Senior Performance Marketing Specialist role sits within the growth marketing function and reports to a senior leader on that team. You'll take end-to-end ownership of a set of performance channels - spanning paid social, paid search, affiliates and retargeting - for one of the business's key markets, shaping the strategy, testing agenda, and budget decisions that determine how efficiently the company acquires new customers. It's a hands-on, high-visibility role for someone who wants to own outcomes, not just execute campaigns.
🛠️ Core Responsibilities
Channel Ownership
- Own assigned channels end-to-end - from strategy and audience segmentation to creative direction, bid management, budget pacing and performance reporting
- Manage channel budgets against monthly and quarterly spend and revenue targets
Strategy & Optimisation
- Develop and execute channel strategy, balancing funnel allocation to maximise ROAS and revenue
- Build and refine audience and targeting strategies - lookalike modelling, keyword and interest targeting, segmentation and exclusion logic - and lead structured creative and campaign testing
- Track competitive activity and platform developments, feeding insight into quarterly media planning and channel-mix decisions
Reporting & Analysis
- Deliver weekly and monthly performance reporting (spend, revenue, ROAS, CPA, funnel metrics) and run campaign-, audience- and creative-level deep-dives that lead to clear recommendations
- Support cross-channel attribution and incrementality analysis, feeding insight into the team's broader performance reviews
Collaboration
- Partner with the Business & Media Strategy Lead on channel and funnel budget allocation
- Work closely with the creative team/agency on asset briefs, share cross-market learnings with other market leads, and maintain strong platform partner relationships for support, beta access and joint business planning
🎯 Skills and Experience
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience managing performance marketing campaigns at scale, with direct ownership of channels like Meta Ads or Google Ads
- Demonstrated experience with at least one additional performance channel (e.g. Affiliate, Pinterest, TikTok or programmatic) beyond Meta and Google
- A track record of managing meaningful monthly budgets and delivering against ROAS or CPA targets
- Experience in e-commerce or DTC performance marketing, with a clear understanding of upper-funnel awareness versus lower-funnel conversion
- Strong analytical capability, comfortable working with GA4, Looker Studio and platform-native reporting to diagnose performance
- Clear, structured communication - able to present a performance review to a non-specialist stakeholder and make it useful
🌱 Nice to Have
- Experience in the home or lifestyle vertical
- Familiarity with buying behaviour and longer conversion windows
- Familiarity with incrementality testing, geo holdout experiments or media mix modelling concepts
- Experience working across time zones, managing a market remotely from a different region
🚀 You'll Love This Role If…
- You want full ownership of your channels, rather than a narrow slice of one campaign
- You get energy from structured testing - clear hypotheses, measurable outcomes, and a story behind every ad
- You have a sharp instinct for audience health, and know when targeting is saturating, when to refresh, and when to hold steady
- You're genuinely customer-centric - you think about what the person on the other side of the ad actually needs, not just what converts
- You thrive working async across time zones and enjoy collaborating with market leads and platform partners globally
